The new school teacher...

This week has been filled with back to school photos on Facebook and Instagram. We decided it might be fun to share some ideas on how to bless your child's new school teacher.

Start the school year off right with one of these easy and cute gifts for your kids‘ new teacher!

We love the idea of incorporating useful school supplies into the mix. The CIF Team was shocked to find out that according to a national survey conducted by Kelton Research 97% of all teachers pay for school supplies out of their own pockets. And the average teacher spends approximately $1,000 out of his or her own pocket for classroom supplies (according to www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com). So lets thank our local teachers with some of these adorably gifted school supplies!

And the best part is that The Tom Kat Studio provides a free printable for those “bright” tags!

Here are some more of our favorite ideas on other fun teacher gifts that don’t involve school supplies.

We love the idea of adding the special touch of tracing and cutting out your child’s hand to add to the tag! Click here to download a free printable of the tag.
